And the life goes on.....

Life takes its own roles and shapes it accordingly. Following is the conversation between a daughter and her mom at different life phases and shows how gradually desires and demands change...

Age: six years old. 

Scene 1 :

It was the day raining so heavily.

Daughter: " Mom, It's such a nice weather :) Can you please make some pakodas, pleaseeeeeeeee !!!!"

Mom: " No dear..U are a kid, oily food will be harmful for your health... U can have hot milk and cornflakes !!! " . Sad and upset, I went to my room without having any food ::(. . 

Scene 2

Few days later, it was 6 o'clock in the evening. 

Daughter: " Mom, can I go and play with my friend Ansh ... I have completed my homework also.."

Mom: " Ok, you can go and play.. but please come before it gets darker !!! ". Smile on my face, I just ran out ......

Age: 12 years old.

Scene 3:

It was a dark night.

Daughter: " Mom, it's my friend's birthday tomorrow, shall I buy her a gift and go to her home in the evening"

Mom: "K dear..take your dad for buying you the gift and he will pick and drop you at your friend's place. "

Age:15 years old.

Scene 4 : 

 It was dinner time.

Daughter:" Mom, can you please buy me a laptop. it would help me in solving my physics numericals..."

Mom in a thoughtful situation, " Dear.. you will be staying here for just 2 more years..You can use daddy's desktop for all these purposes!!! "

Scene 5:

Daughter: " Mom, it's Shweta's birthday tomorrow. I have asked Ansh to help me in buying the gift and he will take me to her place. So please dad and you, no need to worry ... "

Mom in a speechless state, " Oh...ok dear... as u say, but please take care of yourself !!! "

Age: 17 years old.

Scene 6 :

 Now, daughter is pursuing graduation and am staying in the hostel. She went to my home for  vacations.

Daughter:" Mom, look at the skirts and clothes, i have bought for me. See those sandles, aren't they awesome."

Mom:" Ya dear , nice they are... but have you used all your dad's bank balance or is something left ??? "

Daughter:" Mom, don't worry. I have got gifts for you and dad also. I know there is no balance left...but daddy loves her daughter a lot.. :) "

Mom: " K dear... talk to your dad only then.."

Mom went away..

Scene 7 :

Again, it was my vacation time. 

Ansh came home and asked mom, " Aunt, I am taking your daughter to my home. I will take care of her and will drop her in 3 hours. "

Mom:" dear.. you could have asked me ??? "

Daughter: " Mom, i am elder now. I can take care of myself. Also, I am studying in the hostel now..."

Mom: " Ok, dear... "

Age: 21 years old.

Scene 8:

Girl has completed her graduation, and got the job. She is staying at home now, waiting for her joining.

Daughter: " Mom, I have to buy some formal clothes for office. Would you like to join me in shopping, also I need some cosmetics...I would have taken Ansh, but he won't help me in working out the shades.. "

Mom: " Ok dear..my pleasure !!! "

Mom went away..

Scene 9:

 Daughter: " Mom, don't you think we should invite Ansh and his family for dinner ??? He take so much care of me . "

Mom: " Is it dear !!! "

Daughter: " Mom, see I will leave for my job in few days, so I just want to treat him. Tell me if you are ready, or else, i will take them to some hotel"

Mom, again speechless, just nodded and one word, " ok dear..I am ready !!!! "

Age: 24 years old .

Scene 10:

Daughter  has come home for some vacations..

Mom:" dear..it is Diwali.. all our relatives and friends will be coming to celebrate at our home, I request you to either wear decent clothes like salwar suits.."

Daughter: " Oh mom, I know all these things. Hope, you will manage with seeing me in skirts and shorts..don't worry, your daughter is bold enough to answer them .."

Mom again, " Ok..dear...!!!"

Scene 11:

Daughter: " Mom, don't you think I am marriageable now ??? How about Ansh, he is a nice guy no ???

Suddenly shocked, Mom, " dear...you should consider other options also"

Daughter:  " I think you and dad should go to his place and talk to his parents as a formality. Just to inform you, he has already asked his parents and they have agreed.. "

Mom: " Ok dear... if you say so.. !!! "

See, how life changes its faces, its colors. It is the journey of generation that take it turns as time passes by. Demand changes, desires changes, opinion changes, responsibility changes and so on.....

Solitude Wins....

In the present world, everyone is so busy in running through their goals and money. Life has become so materialistic that even a small conversation takes place for some or the other reason. In this chaos, still the winner is solitude. It is the general tendency of the human being, to listen to himself, interact with others to take their viewpoints, but take the decision on its own. It resembles to the wind that decides its direction and then let others follow it ...

Solitude and loneliness are many a times used interchangeably, but there is a lot of difference between them. Loneliness is a negative term when you don't have people to talk to you, while solitude is the state when you are alone but not lonely, and you can provide yourself a wonderful company 

As stated by Paul Johannes Tillich, "Language... has created the word "loneliness" to express the pain of being alone.  And it has created the word "solitude" to express the glory of being alone. " 

There is a lot of argument on whether long term solitude is desirable for a being or not. In terms of medical and health perspective, it is known as the state of depression and loneliness, while spiritualists says, " It is the state of spiritual enlightenment ". 

When some person commits some crime, he is either sent to jail or in complete isolation, when you are kept apart from all other beings..there solitude is regarded in negative sense. But, yes... this negativity is being generated as a result of negative acts. So, lets keep this apart. 

Reading, thinking, creativity, experiencing the nature etc are some activities when you really need solitude to win yourself

For example, a temple is a place where you hear  chants and prayers, even it creates a lot of noise. It generates peace n calmness in the heart. It takes you out from all destruction and humdrum around you and you feel you are the single soul in this hush rush of different colors, different people, different worlds, different lives. 

When you stand in front of the tides in the sea, it attracts you towards it, it calls you to come and be the part of it, you will always feel that these tides are causing destruction to the world beside you, but their is immense silence and peace that is being nourished within you at that time. You will feel that you are the king of this world.

Solitude is a synonym of pleasure for some people. Some people consider it as a part of internal desire to keep themselves away from all social interactions in order to gain some kind of victory or some new invention.

Even, the psychiatrists suggests to keep some patients in isolation , in order to protect the whole environment . 

Sometimes, solitude within you becomes the winner of your whole world, because it takes you apart from the expectations you have from others, it gifts you freedom . It takes you apart from all the arguments and distractions.

It, therefore many a times provide you the way to reach your goal. It leads you towards the eternal silent world where you are away from all doubts and distractions and you will really feel the winner of your life...
